Nicaragua is part of a group of countries that participate less actively in the programme. Nevertheless, it is part of three lines of action in the area of Justice, where EUROsociAL has assisted in the following: 

• Creation and implementation of three protocols for comprehensive attention to victims of gender violence: investigation by government ministries of cases of gender violence, improving attention to victims by the Ministry of Justice, and coordinating the intervention of all the stakeholders in protection of victims.
 
• Approval and implementation of the National Strategic Plan for strengthening ADRs. 
• Implementation of the Regional Rules for reintegration of incarcerated persons, for occupational and productive reintegration of women.
