The Tax Education Network was created in 2008 within the framework of the first phase of EUROsociAL and with the objective of promoting specialised knowledge and learning experiences based on shared reflection on the experiences of tax and educational institutions.
The joint work of experience exchanges has made it possible to “regionalise” best practices in formal and non-formal educational environments.
The second phase of EUROsociAL continues working to promote this network. An important advance in this regard was produced in El Salvador in June 2013 with the signing of a Regional Letter of Intent by the representatives of the tax and educational agencies of ten Latin American countries. This letter stated their commitment to working together to promote Tax Education as a State policy.
